Kealy’s Pub – Website Design, Photography, Online Advertising

New Website Design For One Of North County Dublin’s Favourite Bars & Restaurants.

The Client

Kealy’s Pub, Cloghran, County Dublin

Kealy’s pub first opened its doors in 1964 in Cloghran, literally a stone’s throw from Dublin Airport.

Over the years they have developed a very loyal customer base of loving locals, of people who have taken advantage of the amazing space to host functions and events, and of tourists who would like one last drink and a bite to eat before they fly back home.

Kealy’s pride themselves on having an authentic and diverse drinks selection, as well as some incredible food.

As with many businesses the world over, as the pandemic first hit and began to take hold, Kealy’s needed to adapt to the ever changing situation. Top of their list of priorities – a new website design.

Why Did Kealy’s Need Our Help?

Kealy’s contacted us and laid out their goals and the objectives for a new website. These were:

1. To redesign the website to reflect the long-standing relationship and proximity to Dublin Airport. Essentially, a new aviation theme for the website design which reflected the interior design.

2. Due to the pandemic there was been a hospitality industry shift away from walk-ins, and towards table bookings and takeaway. Kealy’s needed to be able to facilitate people who wanted to book tables and facilitate online food ordering / takeaway.

3. They had also redeveloped the interiors of the pub and wanted to show off their fresh new interiors online.

With the objectives clearly laid out and agreed upon, it was time to get to work on a new website design…

What Did We Do For Kealy’s…

Firstly we set out plans for the redesign of the website, which included new pages where people could book tables online, as well as where people can enquire about booking private functions.

We conducted some SEO and keyword research to ensure that the website pages would rank highly on Google for the relevant keywords and search terms. This is a key part of any successful new website design.

A new, airport-inspired theme for the site was designed and approved by the owners inline with the interior design of the premises.

Finally we conducted a photoshoot to capture some high quality content of the new bar interior, the function rooms, the food and the drink.

“Escalate were referred to me by a friend when I was looking for help with our marketing back in early 2017. Since then they have completely transformed our online presence, we have gathered fantastic feedback and reviews from customers worldwide and our bookings have increased dramatically through our website.
They’ve since built and launched 3 websites for us and we couldn’t be happier. I would highly recommend them!
